Helene Christian English School

We have just completed our first month of school. The “Helene Christian English School” is taking root in the community of Helene, Honduras. During the month of May 60 students matriculated in grades K-6. They paid their first month tuition and the money collected from the community was 50% of the total cost of running the school. The community is definitely taking action to keep their English school. Team Helene shudders often at the changes they have made. Often our decisions seem risky and we wonder what will happen next. The truth is God is up to something in Helene and we just want to be part of it. God invited us here to work with Him and we are enjoying the ride.
