Larry is the Founder of MEI and currently serves as the Senior Advisor. Larry and his wife, Sheila, recently move back to the US, after serving for 18 years on the island of Helene, one of the most beautiful places on earth. Larry continues to serve MEI as the Senior Advisor, assisting with the ongoing growth of MEI and his heart for discipleship.  

Prior to founding MEI, Larry served as a Southern Baptist pastor for over 20 years, which also included the planting of two churches. Larry graduated from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Larry also successfully started and owned two computer companies, as well as being one of the first to establish internet services on the East Coast.

Sheila grew up in Tennessee. Graduating from the University of Memphis with a degree in Elementary Education, she has over 25 years of experience in teaching in various settings: public, private, and home school.

Larry and Sheila are also looking forward to spending family time with three precious daughters and their 11 grandchildren.
