This year, like past years here in Helene, has seen God in action with the steadfast stewardship of the gracious financial gifts received from our supporters and partners. The year has been so exciting and productive that we could not wait until the end of the year to provide a summary update of key accomplishments:

• Completed building the Vocational Training Center
• Completed building a kindergarten building for the local school system
• Opened a new dental clinic with a new chair and equipment
• Completed 2017 staff training
• Accomplished the Discipleship Encounter program with two individuals
• Sponsored a new futball Team for Helene G-Force
• Completed HCES teacher training, welcoming our first male islander teacher’s assistant
• Provided 40,000 gallons of purified drinking water for the community of Helene
• Sponsored a community development seminar by Harvest Foundation
